Compulsory Credits common to the Aeronautical Field: 30
Compulsory Credits of the Speciality: 30
Optional Credits and/or Internship: 15
Final Master Project Credits: 15

The Master's Degree in Air Transport Systems is set around a common education conducted during the first semester of the first year, and in four different specialisations conducted during the second semester.

Air Traffic Management (ATM) Speciality

The ATM segment is presently undergoing a change and evolution process, required to adjust to the conditions demanded by the airspace user. Therefore, this speciality focuses on the definition and application of methods and techniques oriented towards design, organisation and management of air space, and development, implementation and exploitation of new operational concepts.

A graduate specialised in Air Traffic Management is able to identify, evaluate and propose the required measures for ATM development.

Airports and Air Transport (ATA) Speciality

Airports represent the basis of Air Transport industry, as the necessary infrastructure for operation. On the other hand, airlines aim at improving technical and environmental efficiency of all their operations. ATA speciality is oriented towards operation optimisation, management and operation of airports and airlines.

A graduate specialised in Airports and Air Transport is able to develop measures for operation optimisation, management and exploitation of airports and airlines.

Air Safety (SA) Speciality

Air Transport is the safest means of transport, in which procedures are defined, as well as techniques and interrelated processes among different components that make up the system. The speciality of Air Safety is in charge of risks control and reduction within the systems and Air Transport System operation.

A graduate specialised in Air Safety is able to define predictive processes that ensures safety in air transport.
